نزار قباني عندما يُولدُ في الشرقِ القَمرْ فالسطوحُ البيضُ تغفو… تحتَ أكداسِ الزَّهرْ يتركُ الناسُ الحوانيتَ.. ويمضونَ زُمرْ لملاقاةِ القمرْ.. يحملونَ الخبزَ، والحاكي، إلى رأسِ الجبالْ ومعدَّاتِ الخدرْ.. ويبيعونَ، ويشرونَ.. خيالْ وصُورْ.. ويموتونَ إذا عاشَ القمرْ ما الذي يفعلهُ قرصُ ضياءْ ببلادي.. ببلادِ الأنبياْ.. وبلادِ البسطاءْ.. ماضغي التبغِ، وتجَّارِ الخدرْ ما الذي يفعلهُ فينا...
